Bouldergebiet Tumpen Ache

Tumpen Bloc is set in a deep wood with the Ötztaler Ache running through it. The boulders are scattered around the woods with little connecting paths.

The sound of the river and trees swaying in the wind provides a tranquil area for climbers of all abilities to enjoy. I first started climbing in Tumpen a few years ago when I’d heard that some climbers had found a few boulders and that the area had potential.

Since then I have climbed many new blocs and decided to make a topo for the area so more climbers can enjoy bouldering there. Please respect the area and park in the obvious parking areas around i.e. the tourist info point in Tumpen or in the small parking area over the bridge, please do not park in the field.
